Labs
MICROPROCESSOR AND MICROCONTROLLER LAB
Microprocessors and Microcontrollers laboratory course helps the students to develop their knowledge on processor architecture and the programming skills. The aim of the lab is to provide hands-on training to interface I/O devices, perform A/D and D/A conversions, design traffic light etc. The skills acquired through the experiments help the students to do their projects and enhance their knowledge on the latest trends and technologies. This laboratory provides facilities for the use of 8/16 bit microprocessors/microcontrollers and their interfacing for different applications, using hardware and software concepts to meet industry standards.
Facilities:
- Simulation tools: Kiel software
- Computer Systems: 10 machines
- Hardware: 8085 trainer kit,8086 trainer kit, Microcontroller (8051) Trainer kit and Printer
Linear Integrated Circuits Laboratory
A comprehensive undergraduate engineering program must provide opportunities for the application of theoretical concepts to the solution of realistic engineering problems. As digital systems and computer engineering concepts are integrated into the undergraduate engineering curriculum. We have included this lab which will enable them to work with digital networks and mini-computers. To expose the students to linear and integrated circuits. To understand the basics of linear integrated circuits and available ICs. To understand characteristics of operational amplifier. • To apply operational amplifiers in linear and nonlinear applications. To acquire the basic knowledge of special function IC. To use PICE software for circuit design.
Facilities:
- Digital Multimeter
- Digital IC Tester
- IC Tester (Analog)
- Cathode Ray Oscilloscope
- Dual Power Supply
- Function Generator (3MHz)
- Linear IC Trainer Kits
- Analog Trainer Kits
- ADC & DAC Measurements & Controller
- PSPICE Simulator
ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND CIRCUITS LABORATORY
In EDC Lab, the students will study and analyze the basic electronic devices like different diodes, BJTs and JFETs . Rectifiers are introduced and their performances with different types of filters are observed. The basic amplifier circuit is designed and its frequency response characteristics are observed . With this knowledge students, will be able to do mini-projects with the help of diodes and transistors.
Facilities:
- The laboratory is well equipped with a whole range of Analog and Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, VHF Function Generators, Power Supplies of various ranges.
