Women Empowerment Cell

The cell ensures "Gender equality and addresses if any grievances" arises from women students, staff and employees. Women and girls represent more than half of the TEC population and therefore also more than half of its potential, in achieving Goals of TEC.

Objectives

To identify areas where there is need for upgradation, search for source of technology, select appropriate technology, upgrade the technology and then teach it to the identified groups.
To conduct seminars and workshops to impart knowledge of opportunities and tools available and train women.
To impart entrepreneurial skills to women by making them aware of skilled knowledge, management skills, salesmanship and finance.
Organize events related to International Women's Day and other related activities.
